5.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Donggala City

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An earthquake measuring 5.0 magnitude in the Richter Scale stroke the waters of northwest Donggala City, Central Sulawesi, today morning, March 13, at 09:50 local times or 08:50 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
The quake, that was at the depth of 10 kilometers below the sea level, did not trigger tsunami potential, said the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

The quake epicenter located at 0.02 degrees north latitude and 119.66 degrees east longitude.
Earlier on late Tuesday, March 12, at 23:18 local times, an earthquake with magnitude 4.1 hit Majene, West Sulawesi.
